Blackheath Vale will have timed restrictions, limiting vehicles without an exemption from the junction of Blackheath Vale with Duke Humphrey Road, from 8.15 to 9.00am and 3.00 to 4.00pm on school days during term time. The boundary point will be supported by signage advising the times of the closure, and advanced warning signage will also be in place.

Exemptions are available for residents, however it would be preferable that vehicular movement are kept to a minimum during the times of the closure to maximise the safety benefits of the scheme. The School Street closure will not affect access for Emergency Services vehicles.
